In amongst everything else that's going on in my life, I have about three books that I'm in the middle of reading. One of them is The Chronicles of Narnia (the complete series).
I remember reading The Lion, The Witch & the Wardrobe during my school years. Now that the films are being released again, I was thinking of getting the complete set to read - hopefully in the correct order.
There has been confusion over which order the books should be read in, either having The Lion, The Witch & the Wardrobe or The Magician's Nephew as the first book in the series.
The books are stil enchanting, even now. Starting from The Magician's Nephew into The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe then to The Horse & His Boy, followed by Prince Caspian to The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Then it's The Silver Chair and lastly The Final Battle.
The writing just seamlessly flows and is beautifully written, exploring the imagination of the reader. The storylines are imaginative and each 'book' flows nicely from one to the next and picking up small sections from earlier books in the series.
For those of you with children, or even if you don't and prefer the big books to read, this is a good book to sit down and read and hark back to your younger years.
