| 1. I was born in July 1975 in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, UK. 2. I've also lived in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Lincolnshire (all in the UK) 3. At school, I invariably got ful l marks for my spelling tests (you won't find many spelling mistakes on here!) 4. I still have my care bear toys from when I was 9 years old (Before you ask, they are hidden away in a deep drawer in my spare room) 5. In my GCSE's, I got an "F" grade in 'Art & Design 3D' - In simple terms, that translates as Pottery (whats the point in making cups, when you can buy them from the shop?) |  |
6. In my last year of school, I started playing the Viola and passed the Grade 2 exam. 7. I was a cadet in the Air Training Corps for four years. Did a wide range of activities including flying, gliding, weapon handling, drill, first aid, weekend exercises (wearing fatigues while sitting in a field in the middle of nowhere trying to ambush the other side at some ridiculous time during the night!!), 8. I don't know how I did it, but after fluffing my way through school, I ended up getting into college and passing a BTec ND in Computing. 9. In 1995, after attending three interviews for a company based in the middle of nowhere in the depths of Oxfordshire I started working with Lotus Notes/Domino (R3) as a Software Developer (or whatever my job title decided to be - at one point it was as a Messaging Internet and Groupware Specialist). The rest as they say, is history.... 10. After six, gruelling years of distance learning, assignments, exams and juggling that around working full-time.. I managed to get a Post-Graduate Diploma in Computing for Commerce and Industry with the Open University. 11. I always pick at my food. I loathe brussell sprouts with avengance. 12. I can't eat jelly-beans, jelly babies, skittles or such like as they give me a migraine. 13. Favourite Albums are Bon Jovi's Crossroads and Lady Saw's Walk Out 14. My first full-time job was as a data entry clerk. The faster I typed, the more money I got - I can type about 75 words per minute. 15. In June 2006, I moved everything. Lock, stock and smoking barrel to St Lucia in the Caribbean. 16. I have a new love of scuba diving. I did my PADI Open Water in May 2007, PADI Advanced Open Water in August 2007 and PADI Rescue in December 2007. 17. From March 2008, I have a new puppy caled Kira. | |
